christmas eve

So even though Christmas is my least favorite holiday, I am pretty excited this year...I got Brendan some pretty awesome gifts I think...

Here's some of my random digital stuff when I was tooling around in Maine...it was an old digital Fuji that got maybe 30 pictures to a set of batteries. lol

Day 1

So I've decided that I need another hobby other than growing babies and cooking. What better hobby to take on other than one that I used to love in the past..photography..not gonna lie, Im not exactly fantastic. But every once in a while I pump out a pretty damn decent one. I needed a new battery for my camera, which, for this jobless bum wasn't cheap ($20 for 2), and dropped off some super old rolls to be developed..which to Brendan's displeasure also isn't going to be cheap. (if I had a spot for a stupid darkroom then I wouldn't have this developing issue. I have to pay for a whole set of prints when then the only thing I require is a contract sheet..Grr. Its a waste. They're gonna print em on glossy paper which I hate...and with my luck, they'll ruin my film or under develope it or something...admitedly, the only pictures on there will most likely be crap, but still..aggrivates me.
So anyways, I pulled out my camera..a fantastic 35mm Pentax, I have TONS and ilford film (which i love for its fabulous grain), and I should be good to go.
Decidedly, I'm going to post my pictures, well, at least the ones that arent completely aweful...but BEWARE, I never claimed to be good. lol. Now if only I could find the pictures I have floating around the internet somewhere of some past work...
